All Things Made New

All Things Made New
Creating a New Beginning with God

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV)

This passage tells us that when we give our lives to Christ, he doesn't just forgive us of our past mistakes and make us brand new people. He gives us the strength and courage to leave behind old habits and start fresh.

When considering the prospect of a new year, we often think about making resolutions—things we want to change about ourselves. But what if we resolve this year to let God create a new beginning for us instead?

Whether you feel stuck in a cycle of sin or like you're just going through the motions of your faith, there’s good news! The prophet Isaiah (43:18-19) tells us,

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Made New 02God wants to do something new in our lives—to free us from the things that hold us back and lead us down a path of redemption and renewal. But we must let go of our past and trust God's plan.

As we enter this new year, let's lay down any burdens or baggage from our past and allow God to create a new beginning for us. It is often said that God is faithful and just. What is sometimes forgotten is that He desires to give us new life in him. May we experience the joy and freedom of being a new creation in Christ, now and always!

It is so easy to be discouraged when we continually mess up and fall short of God's perfection. But - just as the sun rises each morning - so does God's mercy. Each day we have new opportunities for grace. More ...

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We meet at the Church Building (details here) for our Sunday Service starting at 10:30 am. We serve tea, coffee and biscuits from 10 am, before the service begins. It is a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings. All refreshments are free.

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access through the main (side) door, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. Note we regret our toilets are not wheelchair friendly, however, we can assist to ensure safe access and use.

Our Service

The main service begins at 10:30 am with a warm welcome from one of our team members. Then follows a time of sung worship; typically have three or four songs lasting approximately 25 minutes. Sometimes a person might pray out loud or read a small passage from the bible. Sometimes people share things that they believe God is saying to the whole church family. This might seem strange the first time you hear it but it’s all part of our connecting with God. We then share news and notices, usually about what’s going on in the life of the church. One of our leaders will then give a sermon that is bible based and that we can apply to our everyday life. We may finish with a final worship song. Sometimes there is an opportunity to receive prayer at the end of the service.
